I’m officially dubbing Zara my Winter Fashion Fairy Godmother because the brand’s Fall/Winter collection is *Chef’s Kiss* perfection. As much as I love shopping for weeks on end to build up the perfect holiday party wardrobe (what can I say, I love to shop!), I admit I could really just do a one-and-done trip to Zara and have everything I need. It’s almost too easy! If you, too, are dying to stock up on glitzy dresses made for mistletoe makeouts, Zara has you covered.
Fortunately for us, Zara has gone above and beyond to not only stay on top of rising trends but to give us options that don’t look boring and basic—and this season, the revival of the classic sparkly holiday party dress is here. Last year’s holidays were so lackluster, you can’t blame us for wanting to go bold this time around!
Zara’s Party section consists mostly of sequined minis, draped metallics and colorful fringe, three things which fill my heart with holiday spirit beyond compare. And if you don’t have anywhere to go, you might need to consider throwing a party of your own! Or at the very least, coordinating with the girls for a dressed-up dinner or photo sesh so you can sparkle this season. You deserve it!
Read on to shop a few of the cutest items on the site now, and remember that this is just the tip of the iceberg, with more holiday party fashion hitting Zara (very!) soon.
Sequin Mini Dress
This red-to-fuchsia color combo takes a basic sequin dress and gives it a little extra flair.
Buttoned Dress with Jewels
Easily the most unique dress on this list, go for bold cutouts and sparkly closures only if you dare.
Sequin Dress
The red sequins on this bias-cut mini are so smooth, it almost gives a metallic foil-like effect.
Fringed Mini Dress
The heart wants what it wants, and mine wants tiers and tiers of royal blue fringe.
Sequin Mini Dress
In my humble opinion, a short dress with long sleeves is the ultimate demure-but-sexy silhouette. And covered in silver sequins? It’s a done deal.
Draped Lingerie-Style Dress
If you’re not into the classic holiday color palette, this lime green draped midi will guarantee you stand out.
Sequin Cropped Top + Short Sequin Skirt
Chunky silver paillettes really give this crop top and matching skirt a retro, disco ball-inspired energy.
Velvet Sequin Dress
If everyone in the room is going to be in sequins, the least you can do is serve an asymmetrical neckline to stand out!
Sequin Mini Dress
I’m not always one for an abstract sequin pattern, but this V-neck mini won me over. Bonus points for the shoulder pads!
Draped Laminated Dress
Not into sequins? This ruched blue dress has the right amount of metallic sheen to suffice for any holiday soirée.
Short Sequin Dress
Last but not least, I’m a sucker for golden glitz—and this halter neckline is especially good.
